These terms cover using Bunvi. The short version: it is a food diary that estimates, it is not medical advice, and a subscription renews until you cancel it in the App Store.
The service
Bunvi records what you eat and estimates its energy and macronutrients from published sources and from what you describe or photograph. You need an account, and you must be old enough to hold one where you live.
Estimates are estimates
Bunvi shows where each number came from and how confident it is, precisely because the numbers are not measurements. Portion sizes, recipes and preparation vary, and the figures can be wrong. Bunvi is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a doctor or a dietitian. Do not use it to manage a medical condition without professional advice, and never ignore such advice because of something Bunvi showed you.
Subscription, billing and cancelling
Bunvi Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription: monthly or yearly. The price and the length are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. It renews automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before that.
Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Bunvi may offer a free trial. Any unused part of a free period is forfeited if you buy a subscription during it. Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms, not by Bunvi.
Using it properly
Do not attempt to break, overload or work around the limits of the service, resell it, or use it to break the law. Bunvi may suspend an account that does.
Your content
What you log is yours. You grant Bunvi only the permission needed to run the service for you — to store your entries and photographs and to have them processed by the services named in the Privacy Policy so they can be identified and estimated.
Ending it
You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings. Bunvi may end or change the service, and will give reasonable notice where it can.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Bunvi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken on the basis of an estimate. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
